Farris Evans, Sr. has a background in the insurance industry that began after his graduation from Vanderbilt Law School in 1949. After spending six years in training as an underwriter and field representative for the Home Insurance Company, he founded this agency in 1955.

John Stanley Evans joined Farris Evans Insurance Agency in 1983 after a two year internship with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in Baltimore, Maryland. His primary duties have always been in the area of sales and company relations. After being promoted to the position of President in 1988 he made the decision to concentrate all future sales and marketing efforts of the agency to Long Haul Trucking.
